I’ve been really into The Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow recently. I decided to pick 3 badass ladies from these shows to do super easy looks for Halloween for you!
Jesse Quick

The first bad-ass Heroine is Jesse Quick. She’s basically the female Flash!

Jessie has always has a cute little ponytail, which I’m sure makes running super fast a lot easier. If you don’t have an eye mask, you can use a bit of red eyeshadow to paint around your eyes. Gold and Red are Flash’s and Jesse’s colours, so I used a really thick gold shadow cream for my lids, and surrounded it with red highlights, and of course red liner.

If you are able to run to a costume store, pick up a red eye mask. I got all of mine for $4.00 CAD. I used a make up sponge and some gold paint to add texture and detail to the eye mask. If you don’t have gold paint, try nail polish. I finished this look with a bit of gold glitter on top of red lipstick.
Black Canary
Black Canary Costume Idea
Black Canary is such a badass vigilante. She is a meta human who uses her Canary Cry to blast her haters away. I bought a white and black face paint kit for $4.00 CAD at a Halloween pop up to paint a faux mask in. Do a smokey eye on your lids to blend in with the black, with a hint of gold in the middle. She also has curly hair.

I used some white paint on this mask to give it more definition. Of course Black Canary loves leather. So just throw a black leather jacket on top of a black crop top or corset, high waisted black pants, and black booties to complete your look.

Don’t forget to work on your Canary Cry all night. To make sure it pops, wear a nice dark and vampy lipstick colour.

If you want to, throw on some extra lashes, and really wing out that black liner. I also used the white from my face painting kit to highlight beneath my brows, and a bit on my nose.
White Canary
White Canary Costume Idea
I can’t even get over how much I LOVE Sara Lance. She’s Black Canary’s sister, and she is such a badass. I mean, this chick trained with the League of Assassins. I didn’t have black paint for this mask, so I used a mixture of charcoal and black sharpie, and blended it out with a wet makeup sponge for definition.
White Canary Costume Idea
In the first season of Legends of tomorrow, White Canary always has her hair slicked back, so buy yourself some pomade for this. I kept the make up super white and light, and opted for white eyeliner.

Throw on a nice white leather jacket and your White Canary is ready to fly.
