Hi Lovelies! Since my anniversary is so close to Valentine’s Day, I decided to share with you a video of our anniversary dinner together! We have a deal that this year I’ll cook dinner and he’ll pay for groceries, and next year we’ll switch!
Dinner Break Down
- I made Nachos with Tostitos Hint of Lime Chips, shredded marble cheese, tomatoes and prosciutto
- I made Kale chips by washing them, drying them, and popping them in a 375 F oven for 8 minutes. I seasoned with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (I eye all of this)
- Roasted potatoes in the Acti-fry. I cut the potatoes in half, seasoned with a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper, and added shallots. I cooked the potatoes for 35 minutes, but they could have done with 40
- Salad container romaine lettuce (I usually use mainly the centre pieces), tomatoes, and kale. Served with an olive oil and balsamic dressing
- I stamed salmon for 8 minutes, and cooked parpadelle pasta from packaging, and opened a bottle of alfredo and garlic sauce. Keeping it simple, we had parmesan as well.
- For fruits, we bought a chunk of pineapple that I broke down into pieces, and a heart shaped tray of strawberries and blueberries.
