The Lazy Girl’s Guide to Halloween: Vampire or Zombie make up look

Tags:

It’s the month of Halloween. We’re smelling pumpkin spice in every store, and drinking it up in coffee. All that is left is for you to pick your Halloween costume. When you’re as busy or as lazy as I am, working on a costume is a lot of work. This Halloween, don’t fuss so much and let your makeup do the talking.

v-1

Whether you want to be a vampire, or you want to be a zombie; all you need is some dark eye shadows and some red lips.

v-3

Smudge some black and brown eyeshadow around your eyes. You’ll look like a panda at first. I added streaks of purple, beige and gold eye shadow and blended them in. I then applied some white and blue liquid liner.

v-11

I smudged some black around my lids, on top of a basic smokey eye. I double coated my lashes, and used black liner for emphasis.

v-9

I felt that my eyebrows were too light, so I added some black eyeshadow onto of them.

v-8

I used a bright red on the inside of my lips, and a darker colour on the edges to make my lips pop.

v-2

Feel free to pop in some cool coloured contact lenses! I need my contacts to see, so that was a no-go for me. I used a lot of highlighter to define my cheek bones.

v-5

I added a few curls into my hair, and kept it messier. If you want to be a zombie, run your fingers through your hair to really fuss up your curls.

v-10

I wore a black shift dress, but feel free to tear some holes into an old shirt, or dress for a zombie look. I would wear a black body con dress for a vampire look (vampires are still sexy right?…).
