I am usually a huge home body. I hate going out, but sometimes we just need to go out and have fun with your girls.
My best friend took our friend with her and another group of her friends out. I usually hate having people so close to me, but there’s nothing like feeling the music all around you. You don’t have to drink a lot, or get plastered to have fun either. There’s this really amazing feeling that courses through you when you’re dancing with great company, and you’re all singing…LOUDLY to the music.
I also feel very thankful because my boyfriend is the most trusting person ever. He encouraged me to have fun, and I did. He is always very proud whenever a guy tries to flirt with me. “Babe, it’s because you’re beautiful. See, you still have it!”-The Bae. I feel like a lot of my exes held me back from going out, or how I wanted to see myself. I’m HUGE on professional behaviour, but I feel like I spent most of my school years working and not letting myself have the opportunities to enjoy things once in a while.
So, I decided that in the dead of winter I was going to wear a dress I had in my closet that probably would never see daylight, and had fun. We don’t seize the moments enough. Now is the time. I’m ready to take 2017 on with a sense of ferocity.
