I’ve been working on a Capstone project for a ’70s vintage store in Kensington Market. I never thought I’d be into the ’70s aesthetic, but I found inspiration through the campaign I was working on.
I received this gorgeous cream faux fur coat from shop.whowhatwear.com through my internship with CollegeFashionista. They actually have their own line of clothing in Target now.
I love how furry this coat is! My pup Parker loves it too. I think it makes me a little bit more like him. He loves to snuggle into this coat and smell it.
I get so many compliments on this faux suede button-down skirt. I got it on sale from Abercrombie & Fitch. I’m a firm believer in never buying anything full price. I have this skirt in navy too.
Let’s also take a moment to appreciate this lovely man photo bombing my bomb-ass picture. Welcome to The Picky Princess sir.
I’m wearing a pair of blue suede booties from Nine West. My mom actually grabbed these from an outlet for me. The best part about these booties are the low heel. They help keep my legs taught, but don’t kill my feet at the end of the day.
One of my favourite little details of this outfit, is how my cuffed sleeve just shows under the coat. I got this blouse for $10 on clearance at Forever 21.
I don’t think that you can call yourself chic if you aren’t wearing some lipstick. I recently fell in love with the NYX Cosmetic’s Simply Red Lip Cream. It stays on all day long.
