Did you get to try the Starbucks Unicorn Frap? Well I didn’t. It was sold out!
Truth be told? I’m pretty salty about it. So, I made some Unicorn-Inspired treats!
The first macarons that I made are Unicorn Poop Macarons. Truthfully? I way undecided the batter and so they didn’t smooth out and look like pink Unicorn poops. I talk about this recipe in another post about the perfect macaron recipe. I totally under mixed and they still had cute feet!
I pipped melted blue candy melts in a little ring on the flat side of the macaron shell. I then filled the centre with strawberry jam. Finally I sandwiched another shell on top.
Finally I dipped the macarons in melted white chocolate, and covered it with round sprinkles.
I used the white, pink, and blue marshmallows in the summer look book. Since I had some leftovers, I melted them down to give my rice krispies a bluefish colour.
I used the blue candy melts and drizzled it on top of the unicorn rice krispies. I topped them off with some round sprinkles, and some pastel sprinkle discs.
Sometimes, all we have to do is take our saltiness and turn it into something sweet.
